December: Winter came to NM, after many weeks of warm dry weather I was able to enjoy multiple days at Taos with great snow! NM is amazing for recreation the same week you are skiing fresh powder and freezing your *** off with wind chill temps in the negatives you can be rock climbing in the sun!

November: Back in New Mexico, La Nina has set in and the weather is beautiful. Since I have NO control over the weather I try not to think about the winter or potential lack there of and enjoy the perfect weather for rock climbing that lingers in our state, then take one final road-trip to Indian Creek with our friends.

October:
Heading to the desert in SE Utah! The trip began with a weekend climbing seminar with gals from NM. Climb like a Girl Moab!
Then off to the splitter cracks in the desert with my hubby and the North Face of Castleton tower, with John and Carl.

September:
If you ask me where my passion lies, it is in climbing and probably skiing after that. However, I have a history of participating at a high level in a lot of sports, so every year I try to compete in an athletic event that I have never done before. First I think it keeps me inspired, second it makes me a better trainer and usually it is a lot of fun!
The Mighty Hamptons Olympic Distance Triathlon.

The swim was a blast, first ocean swim of my life, air temp was maybe 50 degrees, wind, waves and the tide coming in, a total elbow fest. Good thing I went to punk shows in college.
